Time/Life

Updated: Aug 23, 2022

Did you know that your time IS your life? Think about it. Before you were born you had no time, and when you die your time is up. So it just makes sense that every minute of your time IS a minute of your life, and once its gone you will never see it again.

Let’s let that sink in for a minute. Pause… think… time=life=time.

Now this is going to get deep really fast… I hope you are ready.

If you add 100 to you birth year, you will find the year that you can be more than 99% certain that you will be dead. Ouch! Further, every person gets the exact same amount of time every day - 24 hrs. Am I right?

Now, did you know that every person also gets exactly 7 days a week? That means that every person gets exactly 168 hrs a week - no one gets more, no one gets less… rich, poor, black, brown, white, we all get the exact same daily allocation. You can’t save it, and you are forced to use it one way or the other.

But here’s where it really gets interesting… if you randomly take two people of the exact same age and origin you are likely to find one to be living an amazing life of prosperity and happiness and the other living a mediocre, average life of struggle, frustration, and even despair. How did this happen? I’ll come back to that in a minute.

For now I want to share something else with you. There are only two ways that time/life can be used. It can either be wasted or invested. That’s it. And the choice of how you use/spend your time/life is entirely up to you, and no one else.

Another important thing to understand is that a person’s current observable reality is the direct result of the cumulative and compound effects of how they either wasted or invested their time/life in the past (the cause behind the effect).

Back to our example of the prosperous and average individuals… Let me ask you another question, one that I am confident you can answer yourself - which person do you think invested their time/life, and which wasted it?

Now let’s get personal… what percentage of your 24 hour day / 168 hour week are you wasting versus investing? If, when you evaluate your present reality, you find that you are unhappy with any aspect of it, that will give you a clue. Here are the 8 areas of life to evaluate… Spiritual, Fitness and Health, Self Improvement, Relationships, Vocation (work, career, business), Financial, Lifestyle, Recreation (Vacations/Time Out).

But don’t be dismayed. You see, it is never too late to begin investing your time to create the future life you dream of living! You can start today! If you do you can absolutely change your future reality!
